Results can be obtained within 13 days of testing.
- Band scores are recorded on a Test Report Form, showing overall
ability and performance in all 4 modules.
- There are 9 band scores, from Band 1 - Non-User (essentially no
ability to use the language beyond a few isolated words) to Band 9
- Expert User (has full, operational command of the language,
accurate and fluent with complete understanding).
- To achieve an Overall Band Score of 6.0 or 6.5, you need to be
competent in all 4 modules at a higher level than that of an SPM
credit.
- There is NO PASS for IELTS.
- Your score shows your proposed institution of study, how good
your command of English is and how much tuition you may need before
you begin your course.
